This is a vintage 50cm road frame set of unknown origin. It was constructed from double butted steel and lugs and has been stripped and repainted. The serial number is three digits followed by "SRC." This may indicate that it was made by Strawberry Bicycles in Portland, OR but I have been unable to confirm with them. The Second Nature decal on the chain stay may indicate that the frame came from Second Nature, which was the only place in the Eugene area which had a frame building jig at the time this frame was probably made (mid '80s). The seat tube measures 48.5cm center to center (50.5cm to top), the top tube is 50cm. The frame takes 27" wheels and the rear axle spacing is 120mm. The seatpost is 27.2mm. Included are a Campagnolo headset and Sugino bottom bracket. The frame is in very good physical condition -- no dings or dents or signs of corrosion. The paint is also in very good condition with minor scrapes and scratches. Please look closely at the photos, and if you need more detail, please send us a message.
